As mohith has already stated the Boons and banes of Electric vehicle, I really wanted to dive deep into the comparisons with combustible energy and green energy. for those who arent familiar or dont recall combustible energy , its the non renewable energy which can go extinct after a couple of years. So comparing combustible energy with green energy is whole new level of concept because for the fact that green energy is an unlimited source of energy. for example solar vehicle. As long as sun provides solar energy and vehicle stays strong then its unlimited.
And if you are planning to ask how solar drivers drive at night..they have a storage unit to store solar energy. just putting it out there
and the second thing is cost effective. They are lot cheaper than the petrol or deisal vehicles and on the long run they are easier to maintain as well
third one is driving distance way more which means they cover longer distance in short amount energy, so indirectly you are saving your money as well.
And finally Grid Electricity Demand the present electricity consumption of the whole country amounts to 450 gigaWatt. That wattage powers everything, from toasters and air conditioners to factories, hospitals and cities. Adding that new generating and grid capacity any time soon is of concern when considering that the present level was being developed since the time of Edison. So having a new grid electricity demand might be a bit problematic
Electric vehicles not only own the fast lane with Porsche and Tesla , but nowadays EVs are also going to be a common sight on backroads and rugged terrain because Ford, Chevy, Hummer, Tesla, and the upscale company are among the car manufacturers seeking to cash in on the massive SUV and pickup truck market with new electric models.
According to the Stock Market, the introduction of heavy-duty EVs is turning pickup truck lovers into “accidental environmentalists,” judging from the volume of preorders and interest in soon-to-be-released models.
Battery performance is key to the electric vehicle experience, from driving range and charging time to the car’s lifetime. so thats that
many people would switch to an electric vehicle to save money once the total cost of owning an electric vehicle is lower than a comparable gasoline-powered one. This means that current cost of purchasing a EV is a bit high but maintaining them is really cheap compared to that of other vehicles
